Constructed for the Fowler Elementary School District in Phoenix, Ariz., the Western Valley Child Care Center provides convenient and safe child care, with an educational setting for district teachers and staff at an affordable rate. Capitalizing on Tilt-Up’s cost-effectiveness, the contractors and architects were able to design a building that possesses strength, durability, and playfulness.
The wall panels were cast with curvilinear designs of various shapes, textures, and depth, which were then stained or painted in bright earth tones. The use of intricate radius reveal and sandblasted patterns provides a unique touch to the child care center. Not only is this an economical building constructed within a reduced timeline, but it also provides students with an attractive and fun atmosphere in which to play.
By incorporating Tilt-Up methodology, this project saved the Fowler School District over $850,000.
