The Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) College of Fellows, established in 2016, honors the rich tradition of service to the Association on behalf of the industry. The College of Fellows cultivates awareness for the community of professionals dedicated to the mission of the Association, and elevates the service of its members to the entire industry. Fellows establish this service through their organization’s commitment to membership and participation and are elected to fellowship by a jury of their peers.
Fellowship is one of the highest honors the TCA can bestow upon an individual. Elevation to Fellowship not only recognizes professional achievement but also significant contributions to the industry and the Association.
While current membership status is not required, nominees must have completed ten cumulative years as a representative of a member organization prior to the nomination deadline. If uncertainties exist about the period of membership please contact jbarr1@tilt-up.org or call (319) 895-6911 to verify the candidate’s eligibility prior to preparing the submission.
Nominees shall have made outstanding contributions to the industry of tilt-up concrete in the areas of education, research, development, design, construction, or management.
In addition, a nominee shall have made significant contributions to Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) through participation in committees, the Board of Directors and/or local host committees. A successful nominee shall retain the designation of Fellow in perpetuity.
The Tilt-Up Concrete Association and the TCA College of Fellows reserve the right to waive certain qualification requirements.
Candidates for the College of Fellows must be sponsored by: (a) any individual employed by a TCA Member Organization, (b) a Member of the TCA College of Fellows, or (c) a member of the Association’s executive management.
In addition to the application completed by the sponsor, up to five letters of support/recommendation may be submitted. Letters must be authored by representatives of current TCA member organizations and must be submitted prior to the nomination deadline.
