This presentation walks users through the history of technology in the construction industry, explains BIM, and gives an understanding of where the industry is (in various global markets) in its adoption of BIM. This presentation will highlight the ways the construction industry is traditionally slower than other industries to adapt to new technology, but this seminar will also provide hope when reviewing the market expectations and generations entering the workforce. The presentation concludes with a look at some emerging technology being used in the construction industry today and where the industry could be headed.
