We are proud to announce that Synergy Business Park Building 3 is Stout's first architectural tilt-up project. Two colors of exposed concrete (onyx & gray), sandblasting, and reveals were used to create the patterns visible on the exterior of the building.
Major demolition, unique excavation needs, and a global pandemic were early challenges that threatened the success of this project. Working closely with the owners, design team, Sandy city, and special inspectors helped ensure a high quality building. However, our greatest asset came in the form of a very detail oriented tilt-up contractor. Although Stout did not construct the first phase of the project, we were asked to match the color and finish of the first two buildings on site. Thanks to our talented tilt-up contractor, who has a TCA Certified Supervisor leading the team, we were able to match and even exceed expectations in this area.
This building has provided Sandy with needed office/warehouse flex space. It was fully rented by Wasatch Products prior to completion and currently operating smoothly. We will continue to build on the relationships established with city officials and inspectors as we move on to the next phase of the project.
