Republic National Distributing Company

This facility is the new Nebraska office / distribution facility for Republic National Distributing Company, which moved from an existing Omaha location. The purpose was to create a signature local appearance for a national distributor of wine and spirits.

The frontal elevation of the building is significantly lower than the street lever and is separated from the street by a parking deck. The intent was to create a unique architectural feature at the building entrance to overcome a challenging site. This project features a group of three leaning tilt panels unfolding from the main building facade into bridge connecting to the parking deck. The folding feature continues into the main lobby space as a soaring twenty five foot high clerestory allowing light to penetrate deeper into the space. The building features an open mezzanine with cut outs for future windows.
