Northgate building three is a four-story 133,000-square-foot commercial office building located at the north entry to the Aberdeen Proving ground in Maryland. Tilt -Up construction was utilized on this third building in the development as it proved to be substantially less in total cost than the original two buildings constructed conventionally — and it offered far more design flexibility. 70 percent of the building's exterior is clad with full-brick veneer, with the painted Tilt-Up wall areas accented as 'precast' elements.
The corners of the building offer column-free glass cantilevers. The building is designed to meet the LEED Silver level of certification and will be a site adapt prototype for the balance of the buildings in the park.
