Don Greive is a founding principal and current CEO of Pinnacle Structural Engineers, a sustaining member of the Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA). With over 40 years of experience in structural engineering design and project management, Don has led a wide range of projects across building types, including serving as prime consultant on architect-engineer teams. His early exposure to construction began with preparing steel and rebar shop drawings during summer breaks, eventually leading to a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Rice University and an M.S. in Structural Engineering from the University of California. Don currently serves on the Executive Committee of the TCA Board of Directors and has played a key role in the association’s technical and educational initiatives. Under his leadership, Pinnacle has contributed significantly to the tilt-up industry, with multiple award-winning projects recognized by the TCA, including the Fort Bend County Veterans’ Memorial built in conjunction with the TCA Convention in Houston. He has authored articles for Tilt-Up Today and presented at industry events, including a 2018 TCA session on innovative materials in tilt-up. Don has also held leadership roles in SEAoT and ACI’s Houston chapters and is a past recipient of the Outstanding Young Alumni Award from the Rice University Engineering Alumni Association.
