Job Description

TAS Commercial Concrete Construction has an immediate opening for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, in Dallas, TX. This position is accountable for conducting repairs and maintenance on heavy to light equipment, trucks, generators, and other mechanical equipment. The incumbent must have the ability and flexibility to work varying shifts and long hours (8-12 hours). Weekend work and extra hours occur according to production needs and at the discretion of the Supervisor.


Five years related mechanic experience is required. CDL Class A or B is a plus.

High School diploma or GED preferred.

Ability to drive to jobsites on a daily basis.

Must have own tools.

Knowledge of 360 software preferred.

Computer skills preferred.

The incumbent should have extensive knowledge of gas, diesel and electric driven engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical schematics.

Additionally, qualified candidates will need high level of analytical ability for project efficiency.
