Located in the flourishing southeast industrial market of Houston, Carpenters Logistics Center consists of a 752,000 SF divisible cross-dock warehouse with 40’ clear height and over five acres of paved industrial outdoor storage with a rigorous schedule in place, the project was completed on time and aligned well with client expectations.

What obstacles were overcome related to the schedule, budget, program, specification, site, etc. on this project?

Coordination and communication among all teams helped keep the schedule and budget intact. Consistent pour planning resulted in over 47,000 cubic yards of concrete to be placed without delays. The main challenge involved executing the unique reveal pattern with accuracy across all panels, which required extra attention during layout and formwork stages. Despite this detail, the team maintained efficiency and produced a high-quality finish

The primary design element that set this project apart was the custom reveal pattern on the panels. The pattern required precise formwork to ensure consistency and alignment, which demanded a high level of craftsmanship and quality control from both the shop and field crews. The final product showcased clean lines and exact repetition, demonstrating our team's capability to meet detailed architectural requirements.
