Intermountain New Holland

Summarize the project's program, features and achievements?

Prominently Visible from I-84, the Intermountain New Holland dealership in Heyburn, Idaho sends the message of permanence and support to the hard-working farming community it serves. In an area of metal buildings, exposed architectural tilt-up concrete is the perfect expression to showcase New Holland farming equipment sales & service with confidence. The structure is conservative by nature, but bold by design. The well-crafted concrete walls are simple, yet accented with integral color, sandblasted sections, and highlighted with blue metal trim and conveys a sense of reliability, organization, and prudence. The interior features MagicSlab floors giving yet another feature that is awe inspiring. Extremely durable and virtually maintenance free, the facility is designed to withstand constant use for decades to come and look great doing it!

What obstacles were overcome related to the schedule, budget, program, specification, site, etc. on this project?

It was difficult to execute the high level of quality in rural Idaho during a cement shortage. We had a skilled crew and a diligent QA/QC process.

Please communicate any engineering complexities or unique features of the panel design for this project?

The design was overall simple but the entire tilt-up process was modeled ahead of time to ensure all materials and processes were in place since the project was so remote.

What is the potential for this project's impact on the community and/or environment?

A landmark facility for the farming community in Idaho. It will set the standard for future development in the area.
