Home Depot Kapolei

Construction of a tilt-up big box home improvement store. Marketing Description: The Home Depot Kapolei was the sixth store from the big box home improvement retailer to open in Hawaii. The new building is 117,437 square feet with a partially-covered 32,968-square-foot Garden Center. The store is constructed with concrete tilt-up walls, metal joists, concrete slab-on-grade, a structural steel roof, metal decking, and membrane roofing. Exterior finishes include sheet metal trim and gutters, downspouts, automatic sliding doors, overhead doors, a glass storefront, and metal siding.The limited interior work consisted of gypsum board partitions, plywood sheathing, countertops, doors and windows, acoustical tile ceilings, ceramic tile, toilet partitions, fixtures, and accessories. Additional exterior work included sitework and paving for a parking lot, a service drive, and limited landscaping.
