Crosspointe Church strayed from the norms of tilt-up construction as a result of minimal crane access, ensuing an inevitability of lifting certain panels from the slab on grade. Other panels, while architecturally attractive, had very large trapezoidal-shaped openings that made panel erection much more difficult. The entire lifting process was hindered by a lack of boomlift and equipment access and the close proximity of the panels to one another. Despite the difficult processes involved in the construction of this church, the resulting features, such as trapezoidal shapes with large openings, were incredibly innovative and brought attention to the beautiful nature of this building. The mission of Crosspointe Church is to bring back the sense of community in Cary through an emphasis on Christianity and loving others. Crosspointe Church via "The Why Project" is pairing with a local YMCA to help the community via gym programs, wellness floors, children and teen environments, sports fields, gathering spaces, and cooking classes. The impact that Crosspointe Church has on the people in the Cary area is remarkable, as it aims to lead the community on a path to Godly love. Without the remarkable work of Citadel Contractors, Inc., the goals of Crosspointe Church would be just that: goals. Through the work of Citadel to meet every need the owners had, the impact Crosspointe wanted to have became a reality and yet another goal accomplished.
