Connection Park is a combination of two office buildings located outside of Dallas in Irving, Texas. Our challenge was to design a building as flexible as possible for a diverse market near Dallas / Fort Worth Airport. The solution was a three and a half story building constructed using tiltwall panels. The additional 4th story adds an extra 23,000 square feet of rentable space offering exclusivity within the building for executive uses. With a column free tiltwall skin we were able to achieve a typical floor plan with 12 exposed columns for a full floor tenant and only 4 exposed columns with multi-tenant corridor built out in a 42,000 sf footprint. Whereas conventional class A buildings of similar footprints in that market carry up to 44 exposed columns. The building also has a 40% glass to wall ratio which competes with and in most case beats conventionally constructed class A precast and curtain wall buildings in this market.
