The Valley Shepherd Church of Nazarene, located in the city of Meridian, Idaho, features a 5,400-square-foot Fellowship Hall and Gym, and a 30-foot by 30-foot Chapel with 37-foot high ceilings. In addition, two large cathedral-shaped stained-glass windows and an entrance door complement the entire design of the church, which showcases a 6:12 pitch roof.
Acoustic baffles and under-floor HVAC with an NC coefficient of less than 25 in the sanctuary ceiling provide state-of-the-art sound throughout the entire space. The church was built on a lot with park-feature capabilities, which allowed for the spacious eight acres of lawn.
According to the City of Meridian Mayor Tammy deWeerd, “Tilt-Up buildings can look good, just look at Valley Shepherd Church of the Nazarene.”
