This three-story, one-stop medical facility was built to allow patients to see physicians, get medical exams and receive therapy - all in one place. It is the first Tilt-Up concrete building for the owner and also in the area.
The owner wanted a facility that was durable, energy efficient and attractive on a tight schedule. Tilt-Up construction was a natural fit. It saved five to ten percent on the total project cost compared to masonry construction, and the facility was completed 45 days ahead of schedule. Layered Tilt-Up wall panels created a dynamic multi-dimensional building shell. Tilt-Up panels also frame the expansive windows and distinct entryway, which maximizes natural light in the facility.
The contemporary look of the facility is enhanced with textured concrete panels and two-tone cast-in thin brick. Rustication lines and medallions accent the building. At the front of the building, the top floors extend beyond the footprint of the first floor, creating a covered driveway for patients. Customizing spaces for numerous medical practices and disciplines in a single facility was one of the greatest challenges on this project.
