Since 1966, LJB Inc. has been improving the quality of life for our clients, our people and the clients and communities we serve. Our skilled staff provides services in civil and structural engineering, environmental and safety services. LJB has been providing structural design of tilt-up buildings since the early 1970s – long before the benefits of tilt-up were globally realized. In the beginning, we operated as CON/STEEL Tilt-Up Systems and the CON/STEEL Alliance. Today, LJB's experience, expertise and continual innovation in tilt-up design have made us a leader in the growing tilt-up industry. LJB’s team has designed more than 1,600 projects with tilt-up construction, and we focus on adding value early in the project that can save time and money during construction. We have developed proprietary construction drawings and standard details that deliver a proven method for design-build site cast tilt-up construction. Our approach translates into efficient field production and higher quality construction for our clients. As a leader in the tilt-up industry, LJB has been involved in the development of numerous design advancements with the method, including innovative solutions for multi-story tilt-up. LJB is also a pioneer in progressive collapse avoidance design and blast resistance for tilt-up concrete wall panels.
