The Kingdom Builders Community Center was designed and built with the purpose of “creating a safe and nurturing environment that will offer help, health and hope for the citizens of our neighborhoods.”
The 450,000-square-foot building is composed of religious, educational, recreational and commercial shell components. The architect worked with the client by using Tilt-Up to deliver a durable, safe structure while keeping in mind cost. The facility includes a 7,000-seat sanctuary with a theater-in-the-round concept with space for a 350-member choir, an orchestra and a stage for performing arts.
The center also provides a family life center, prayer center and gym. Based on an atrium mall or town-like concept, there are also retail operations and a large play area featuring a carousel for children.
