Estella Matemu has been involved in the concrete construction industry for over 20 years. As a Director of Product Management and Innovation at Leviat North America (home of MeadowBurke, Halfen and Thermomass), she is leading a team dedicated to developing new products for concrete construction. She spent over a decade working as a product manager specializing in design of new products for precast and tiltup industries. Prior to her product management days, Estella spent 7 years as a structural engineer with LJB designing tiltup buildings and 2 years with Arup designing industrial concrete buildings. Since graduating with a degree in Civil Engineering from Moscow University, she has gone on to earn an M.S. in Engineering Management from the University of Dayton and an MBA from Wright State University.
