The Convention Host Committee is a strategic coalition of regional leaders representing the Gulf Coast’s expansive and influential tilt-up community. Anchored in one of the nation’s most active construction markets, this group plays a critical role in shaping the direction and impact of the 2027 Tilt-Up Convention and Expo in Houston, Texas.
Drawing on Houston’s scale, diversity, and leadership across energy, logistics, manufacturing, and commercial development, the committee brings forward a perspective grounded in complexity, performance, and real-world application. Their work extends beyond local coordination—positioning the convention as a platform that reflects where tilt-up is operating at its highest levels today and where it is headed next.
Through deep industry connectivity and a commitment to advancing the built environment, the Host Committee helps ensure the convention delivers not only a compelling experience, but a meaningful contribution to the evolution of tilt-up construction—rooted in the distinct character, ambition, and momentum of Houston and the broader Gulf region.

Regional Industry Integration and Expansion Leverage Houston’s position as a national construction hub to deepen engagement across Texas and the Gulf Coast. Build bridges between contractors, developers, designers, and suppliers to expand participation and strengthen the regional and national tilt-up network.
Program Strategy and Applied Innovation Inform the development of educational content, case studies, and special programming that reflect Houston’s leadership in large-scale, high-performance, and technically complex projects.
Next-Scale Demo Experience Advance the Demo Experience as a defining feature of the 2027 convention—expanding its scope to reflect Houston’s capacity for scale, logistics, and execution through immersive, hands-on demonstrations.
Houston Identity and Cultural Integration Infuse the convention with the character of Houston by highlighting its diversity, energy, and culture—creating an experience that is both locally grounded and globally relevant.

Founded in 1986, the Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) strives to improve the quality and acceptance of site-cast Tilt-Up construction - one of the fastest growing industries in the United States, combining the advantages of reasonable cost with low maintenance, durability, speed of construction and minimal capital investment.
