TILT-UP ACADEMY | PRIVATE CLASSROOM

Recertification for both ACI/TCA Certified Tilt-Up Supervisors and Technicians is necessary every five years and requires successful completion of either:

1. The then-current written examination, OR
2. Submission and verification of records reflecting a minimum of 10 hours of approved continuing education during the previous five-year period. Courses shall be from listings pre-approved by the ACI C650 Committee and the Tilt-Up Concrete Association from offerings at conventions, exhibitions, or similar venues.

TCA, with the approval of the Committee, will develop and maintain a catalog of approved on-line courses meeting the requirements of this section (Tilt-Up Academy). It is the responsibility of the applicant to maintain record of coursework successfully completed for any approved on-line course.

On-line coursework may not exceed more than 25% (2.5 hours) of the required total continuing education contact hours.

NOTE: Individuals who have allowed their certification to lapse by two years or more can only re-certify by successfully completing the current written exam.

Employers with Tilt-Up Academy Private Classrooms will receive reporting on their employees’ activity including quiz results. This report can be referenced during the recertification process.
