Suntec was proud to work on this momentous building for the City of Goodyear. This Class A office project was the first new office building to be delivered in Goodyear in more than ten years. The tilt-up phase of the project included 25 panels that featured 11 5/8- or 12-inch thickness. The panels featured elaborate reveal designs, form liners and they were finished with CMU block on the exterior. The 3-story building required nearly 57-foot tall panels.
Construction on this project was occurring simultaneously with another building on the site, which required coordination between the various trades on the site. Crane placement was also restricted to the sides and rear of the building due to the completed park area in the front of the building.
This Class A office building is part of Goodyear's new Civic Square. It is a 49-acre master development designed to establish a new center of government and community within the City of Goodyear.
This building serves to complement the new Goodyear City Hall, providing much-needed office space for the growing community. There will also be a park and a 900-car parking structure to serve the new Civic Square. The three-story office quickly secured nine leases totaling 53,338 square feet with local companies or satellite offices, including two headquarters.
