Braelton Crossroads

Summarize the project's program, features and achievements?

AM Concrete proudly presents its groundbreaking achievement on the Braselton Crossroads project, where innovation, sustainability, and quality converged to set a new standard in concrete construction.

Spanning three buildings totaling over 500,000 square feet, this project exemplifies AM Concrete's commitment to pushing the boundaries of excellence. At the heart of our success lies the innovative application of our low-carbon advanced technology slab system, known as AMCRETE 45. Designed to optimize performance while minimizing environmental impact, AMCRETE 45 revolutionized the 6-inch Slab-on-Grade (SOG) design.

Our dedication to sustainability drove us to implement an optimized mix design, significantly reducing the cement content and overall carbon footprint by more than 30% compared to traditional methods. By leveraging 45 pounds of Type II CFS steel fibers per CY of concrete, we enhanced abrasion resistance, flexural strength, ultimate loading capacity, and minimized shrinkage and curling, while increasing joint spacing to a remarkable 58 feet. This strategic approach not only improves structural integrity but also minimizes joint sealant and maintenance requirements over time, ensuring long-term durability and cost-efficiency. Utilizing this low carbon advanced technology slab system contributes to owner receiving additional environmental product declarations EPD), reducing global warming potential (GWP), and increasing structure life cycle through life cycle assessment (LCA).

Furthermore, our tilt-up construction expertise was showcased through the meticulous installation of over 200,000 square feet of panels, complemented by 150,000 square feet of 7-inch concrete paving. Each element of the project was executed with precision, reflecting our unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation.

The Braselton Crossroads project stands as a testament to AM Concrete's dedication to pushing the boundaries of possibility in concrete construction. By combining innovative technology with sustainable practices, we have not only met but exceeded industry standards, delivering exceptional results that redefine the future of construction.
