This world-class manufacturing facility is located in Arvada, Colorado. It houses 43,000 square feet of engineering, manufacturing and office space. The long narrow building provide 80 feet of clear span space to allow full flexibility for the companies ever evolving equipment. Two stories of office space complete the building.

What obstacles were overcome related to the schedule, budget, program, specification, site, etc. on this project?

The site was extremely long and narrow and sandwiched between existing buildings. The Owner needed 80 feet of clear span with the ability to support bridge cranes the full length of the building. The design process began well before final decisions on crane sizes and equipment locations were finalized which required a lot of foresight and late changes.

Communicate any engineering complexities or unique features of the panel design for this project.

The panels were designed to support multiple cranes running the length of the building.
