CRG Northpark DC 1

Project summary provided by submitting company.

CRG, a Midwest Real Estate development company enlisted the services of the architect to design a new warehouse including manufacturing space, warehouse area, and offices for today’s high tech companies. The design is inspired to be a well engineered machine – elegant, purposeful and unadorned. Externally, the volume is broken up by planar elements overlapping each other with 3 different shades of grey. The corners are elemental with a red block of color accented by a composite metal panel frame to draw the eyes to the corners. Full height glass floods the offices with natural light and clerestory windows introduce light into the manufacturing space. Tilt allowed for the flat, unadorned planes that the designer wanted.
