Interface, Inc. is one of the largest carpet and tile manufacturers in the world. The company’s headquarters is in Atlanta, Georgia. However, the center of operations is in LaGrange, Georgia. This location mainly focuses on the manufacturing and production of the product. Interface is known for its innovative and new approaches to all things flooring related. From adhesive glue for carpet application to changing design features to a once traditional floor. Their unique ideas have helped grow the company substantially, creating a need to expand. Construction started on the Interface expansion in the summer of 2018. The 43,000 sf manufacturing facility features a 6” slab on grade and features 38 insulated tilt panels. Panel thickness ranges in size from 7.25” to 9.25.” The finished building has a unique appearance. The large accent window gives a modern and classy feel to a traditional manufacturing facility.
