The new Lehi Power Generation Facility was constructed to replace the much smaller metal-frame facility to better accommodate the power demands of the City of Lehi. This new 63,000-square-foot exposed concrete tilt-up building alternates onyx integrally colored panels with non-colored grey concrete panels to add depth and intrigue to a government building. Various panels also feature accented sandblasting sections. The exterior displays blue tint window glazing and metal paneled canopies. During construction Hughes teamed with Wheeler Machinery to complete the unique office, warehouse and shop facility. Wheeler Machinery was responsible for the designated area for the existing caterpillar generators, while Hughes took charge of the storage area and 17,000 square feet of office space.
