Hillsborough Public Safety Operations Complex

The Hillsborough Public Operations Complex is designed to consolidate various public safety functions including emergency fire rescue, dispatch, and various government operations. The design team selected tilt-up for both its durability and aesthetic flexibility. At the heart of the project is a one-story 67,000 SF Emergency Operations Building with a warehouse, designed to withstand 200 mph winds from a category five hurricane. Load-bearing insulated sandwich panels create an energy-efficient envelope to the warehouse.
