Lycon's Aggregate Storage Building and Batch Plant

The tilt-up construction method was faster and more cost effective compared to precast panel for Lycon's Aggregate Storage Building and Batch Plant projects. An innovative erection approach called for 19 of the 29 panels to be tilted and rolled with a second crane line to edge lifters so the panels could hang plumb for attachment to the steel structure. Performing work at an elevated level presented a challenge, as the bottoms of the panels at the storage facility were 37 feet above the building structure's base.
