Croydon Business Centre

This project involved the construction of four-story tilt-up concrete multi-tenant office building with high quality interior finishes. The building utilized two of the heaviest panels ever lifted in western Canada at 196,000 lbs each, an exceptional feat given the close proximity to neighboring buildings. The tight floor plan combined with cast-in-place stair shafts and shear walls required thoughtful layout of panels and stackers.

Imported Italian plaster finishes were used for all interior common area walls, ceilings, and lobby areas. The project also used structural curtain wall framing and reflective glazing systems extensively. Following LEED specifications, recycled materials were used and an on-site recycling program was in place.
