Mr. Remmetter is President and Managing Principal of MER Engineers, Inc., structural consultants located in Dayton, Ohio and has more than thirty years of experience in the structural design and construction of structural steel, precast and tilt-up concrete buildings. During that time, he has been responsible for the design of more than 400 tilt-up buildings encompassing over 35,000,000 square feet throughout the Eastern United States, Puerto Rico and Canada. He has authored several published articles regarding multi-story tilt-up concrete buildings, seismic design of tilt-up buildings and tilt-up lifting and bracing. Mr. Remmetter received his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in structural engineering from the University of Cincinnati. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the American Concrete Institute (ACI), the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) and currently serves on the board of directors for the Structural Engineers Association of Ohio (SEAoO). Mr. Remmetter is licensed to practice engineering in multiple states.
