Job Description

T&T Construction is hiring a Full Time Senior Project Manager to oversee multi-location job sites including equipment, labor, and materials for our commercial concrete division in the greater Pennsylvania Area. 

Goals:  The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that the overall Safety, Quality, and Financial Goals are accomplished while serving the project and our Clients.  Ensuring projects align with the commitments the Company has agreed to within our subcontracts.

Reports to: Regional Operations Manager

Supervises: Superintendents, Foreman, Field Personnel &/or Subcontractors

Purpose of the position:  The Senior Project Manager in addition to normal project management duties will also be a leader in the organization helping to identify, mentor and develop T&T employees that have demonstrated potential move up the ranks within the production team. We are looking for a seasoned Concrete Professional with strong leadership, integrity, and character. Project Managers work with Estimating to transition jobs from Estimating to Operations, reviewing T&T bid proposals ensuring it aligns with the proposed Contract.  Ensuring no scope gaps occur!   Continually evaluate and monitor the progress of multiple projects, ensuring that Safety, Quality, Schedules and Financial commitments are meet and maintained in accordance with company policy and standards.  Schedule and Manage each job to be completed in a safe, timely, and productive manner.  Delivering T&T’s mission to the complete satisfaction of our customers, employees, vendors and partners. Pursuing business development with existing and new clients.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

• Significant experience is required, no less than 10 years combined experience as an Estimator and/or Project Manager on projects within the specialty concrete construction industry, Tilt-up and CIP Concrete work is encouraged.
• 5+ years of experience in project management for a large scale Self-Perform GC or Concrete Contractor.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering is required.
• Self-perform experience of concrete is preferred.
• Previous experience with performing estimates, submitting bids, and generating proposals preferred. Must possess the skills to review shop drawings, specifications and building plans. 
• Knowledge of construction principles/practices required with experience on projects over $1 million 
• Superior organizational, supervisory and communication skills. A self-starter that is detail oriented with the ability to complete multiple tasks with consistency and accuracy.  Exceptional follow-up skills are required and the candidate should possess the ability to adapt to change. 
• Communication skills include verbal as well as written.  Daily use of phone, text and e-mail is required. PC skills include the use of MS Word, Timberline Accounting and Estimating, Excel, Outlook, as well as the internet and familiarity with menu driven software.
• The capabilities to think ahead, plan work, recognize and resolve potential problems, along with the ability to learn quickly.  Must be a Team leader and builder.
• Must provide or be able to obtain OSHA 30-hour certification and CPR/First Aid certification.
