Job Description

Performs engineering design for Dayton Superior Tilt Up wall panel accessories (lifting & bracing / ACI 551, 301, 347). Essential duties and responsibilities include: Duties as assigned by Regional Engineer Manager or Application Engineer Sr., Create tilt up product application designs, Prepare design calculations as required for submittals, Prepare Bills of Material, Perform Application Engineering Functions as required, Make job site visits as directed by supervisor, Assist Account Managers in sales efforts as requested, Attend classes/seminars to maintain professional competency.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering

EIT Certificate or ability to obtain within one year of date of hire

Previous experience in construction or a related field preferred.

Capable of obtaining professional engineering license in multiple states within four years

Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Solidworks OR Tiltwerks software

Experience in using structural analysis software for simple beam and column elements structure a plus
