Oechsler Adidas Speed Factory

The Oechsler Speed Factory is an industry-defining, state-of-the-art, robot-powered assembly facility in Acworth, Georgia. This is the first U.S. based robotic speed factory and will produce Adidas footwear. The 75,000 sf factory consist of 17,000 sf of high end office space and 58,000 sf of production and warehouse space. A total of 55 tilt wall panels were cast upon the 10” thick slab on grade. Every inch of the slab was used to form and produce panels. Panel thicknesses ranged from 7 ¼ “ to 9 ¼ “. Although the building is on a smaller scale, the factory is set to produce 50,000 shoes annually and employ around 160 people. This development is the future of manufacturing.
