Omega Construction proudly celebrates its 50th Anniversary in 2025, marking half a century of excellence in construction and unwavering commitment to building trust. Since its founding in 1975, Omega has grown from one man’s vision into an industry leader known for delivering innovative construction solutions and cultivating strong, lasting relationships. The company’s motto, “We Build Trust,” adopted in its early years, continues to serve as a guiding principle. This foundation of trust has enabled Omega to connect meaningfully with clients, employees, and partners, adding undeniable value to every relationship. Under the leadership of founder Paul Covington, Omega initially focused on the hospitality, commercial, industrial, multi-family, educational, and religious markets. By the mid-1990s, the company relocated its headquarters from King, North Carolina to Pilot Mountain, North Carolina and in 2012 merged with team members from John S. Clark. Following the merger, Omega expanded from a team of 10 to 35, broadening its focus to include the commercial, industrial, religious, education, and retail sectors. Omega’s growth trajectory accelerated with notable milestones throughout the next decade. Shortly after the merger, the company secured its largest contract to date—a $50 million design-build industrial project for Caesarstone in Richmond Hill, Georgia. In 2016, Omega opened a secondary office in Savannah, Georgia, and introduced a new logo reflecting its evolution and future vision. The pyramid design symbolizes strength, innovation, and durability, embodying the company’s commitment to building a foundation of trust. In 2018, Omega moved its corporate office to Winston-Salem, North Carolina to support its continued growth, achieving revenues of $100 million. By 2021, Omega had earned licenses in eleven states, expanded its team, and achieved record revenues exceeding $200 million. In 2022, Omega further extended its reach by opening an office in Greenville, South Carolina, and doubling its revenue to over $400 million. By 2023, Omega solidified its position as an industry leader, recording revenues exceeding $455 million. As Omega Construction celebrates its 50th year, the company reflects on its rich history while continuing to diversify its portfolio across all market sectors throughout the Southeast. Looking forward, Omega remains steadfast in its commitment to delivering excellence, innovation, and trust for decades to come.
