The Mexican Institute of Cement and Concrete (IMCYC, A.C.) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the knowledge, application, and innovation of cement and concrete. Founded in 1923 as a committee to promote Portland cement and formally established in 1959, IMCYC focuses on research, education, and the dissemination of techniques to optimize the use of concrete in construction. Its mission is to enhance quality, productivity, and efficiency while benefiting the construction industry and society at large. By providing technical solutions, guiding professionals, and representing the cement and concrete sector nationally and internationally, IMCYC plays a pivotal role in strengthening the industry’s professional standards and promoting concrete as a sustainable, economical, and versatile building material.
