As my term as President of the Tilt-Up Concrete Association ends, I want to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to each of you.  It has been a tremendous honor to serve this incredible organization along with the TCA staff and the outstanding team of board members.  The Tilt-up Concrete Association stands as a beacon of innovation, collaboration, and excellence in the tilt-up construction industry, and that strength comes from you – our members.  Your passion for advancing our craft and driving the industry forward has inspired me every step of the way.  Whether through the adoption of cutting-edge techniques, the elevation of safety standards, or your pursuit of creative applications, your contributions have shaped not only our association but the future of construction.

We started 2024 off with a full slate of events and activities. Together we gathered at World of Concrete in Las Vegas, met for the TCA Golf Classic in Atlanta, held Future Think 4.0 in Chicago, descended on Arizona for the Tilt-Up Convention and Expo, and wrapped up the year with a trip north of the border for the second annual Tilt-up Nexus in Toronto.  Attendees of all these events explored the vast potential of tilt-up construction and gained insights into the newest trends and best practices shaping the industry in this unique and challenging environment.  The support the TCA provides for our members continues to be strengthened through each of these events, but only with your attendance and participation.  There will be a full calendar of exciting programs again for 2025.  Please make every effort to be there for as many as possible and encourage others on your team, or industry colleagues, to add a TCA event to their schedule.  They will thank you for it.  You can find more details about the 2025 calendar of events on the TCA website.

During my tenure, I have witnessed remarkable progress for our organization.  Membership reached a record high, and our educational programs and certifications were expanded and improved.  The TCA also invested in international members to foster deeper connections among our global community.  These accomplishments would not have been possible without the support of our dedicated staff, board members, volunteers, and the invaluable partnerships we have cultivated across the industry.  To all who have shared their time, expertise, and vision, thank you for helping the TCA achieve its mission.

As I pass the baton to the incoming President, Bob Murray, I am confident that the Tilt-up Concrete Association is poised for continued growth and success.  I encourage each of you to remain engaged and participate in shaping the future of this dynamic organization.  Together, we ensure that the tilt-up method remains at the forefront of modern construction.

I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for the privilege of serving as your President. This journey has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my career, and I leave this role with immense pride and optimism for what lies ahead for the TCA.  Thank you all for your trust and your unwavering commitment to excellence.  I look forward to continuing to work alongside everyone as a proud member of this special community.
