Leviat Announces Retirement of Mike Wolstenholme

Leviat announced today that Mike Wolstenholme will retire from his role as National Tilt-Up Sales Manager at the end of May after an engaging and successful career as one of the leading voices of the North American tilt-up industry. Fortunately for the many companies and peers with whom he has forged lasting friendships, Mike will still very much be part of industry as he transitions into an advisory role for a number of business partners.

On his decision to retire, Mike said, “I have been fortunate to work with so many great organizations and terrific people. I look back fondly on projects that we worked on together and consider it an absolute privilege to have played a small part in their success as well as the growth of tilt-up. I am proud of what we have accomplished as a member of the Leviat team, and I look forward to following their growth and success in the coming years.”

Mike has spent his entire career in the construction industry, first serving as a carpenter and a concrete form detailer before earning his degree in Business Management from North Carolina State University. As Mike moved into project management roles, he developed a deep appreciation for the efficiencies inherent in tilt-up construction. Since 2005, he has led Leviat’s focus on tilt-up products and services as its National Sales Manager for Tilt-Up, providing an integral conduit between the company’s sales, research & development, manufacturing, and engineering teams and Leviat’s clients.

Throughout his career, Mike has been recognized for his expertise, melding a practical knowledge of the job site with his ever-present commitment to his customers and their work. He was elected to the Board of Directors for the Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) from 2009 to 2012 and is an active member of the Professional Construction Estimators Association.

In recognition of his career achievements, the TCA named Mike its 2023 Peter Courtois Memorial Award winner, noting “Mike’s unique blend of hands-on experience, business acumen, and client focus has not only made him a respected figure in the industry but also someone who has genuinely shaped it for the better.”

Brad Nesset, North American President for Leviat said, “On behalf of our entire organization, I would like to thank Mike for his unwavering commitment to this company, his teammates, and to the tilt-up construction industry. He has contributed immeasurably to the growth and development of all three. I am fortunate to call Mike a colleague and a friend, and I look forward to sharing in his successes both professionally and personally in the years ahead.”.
