Rededicating Ourselves to the Mission and Each Other

Español | Translation Sponsored by TCA

Most people celebrated the end of 2020 with an expectation of forthcoming pandemic relief, optimism for economic stabilization and recovery, and seeing glimpses of light at the end of a long dark tunnel. I don’t think anyone anticipated the three historic weeks that would open 2021 and the gravity of the situation we found ourselves in. I am sure we will be reflecting on these events for some time to come.

It has been said many times that in this community and this organization, what makes us different makes us stronger. We are intentionally composed of professionals from diverse fields with distinctive expertise and varying interests, yet we have a common goal in the advancement of this industry and its players. How we work together and our support for one another is what makes me most proud to be a part of the Tilt-Up Concrete Association.

In this new year, let’s celebrate this movement to hone a process and material with the capacity to deliver striking, functional buildings that are efficient, economical, and resilient. Let’s continue to collaborate and invest in activities that bring us together for a common good. Let’s strive to share more, support new ideas, and rededicate ourselves to the mission. The opportunities to improve this technology through our work together are abundant.
