Hd Supply White Cap Brings Safety Training To Jobsites

Español | Translation Sponsored by Nox-Crete Products Group

Busy contractors face the serious challenge of making sure workers receive OSHA-required safety training. They have asked for an easier way to get training for ladder safety, fall protection, heat stress and silica-dust suppression. The field account managers from HD Supply White Cap listened. Their answer was to create a Jobsite Training Program. This year, the Jobsite Events Team for HD Supply White Cap – a concrete construction supply company, visited 185 jobsites and had more than 25,000 workers attend.

These events begin with an account manager arranging a date and time with the customer. On the chosen date, a team consisting of HD Supply White Cap product specialists and some of the manufacturer’s representatives head to the jobsite. A custom-outfitted van and a box truck with chairs and pop-up tents (for attendee comfort during the event) arrive for the training session. Supervisors call their crews for the training and lunch is provided. The whole session lasts less than an hour and the crews can head back to work.

The program has received high marks from attendees for professionalism, content and delivery. The best endorsement is from the companies that hosted 2017 sessions who have expressed their desire to be included in next year’s schedule! For more information on the program, call your HD Supply White Cap account manager.
