Meadow Burke acquires Thermomass

Thermomass-Installation

Meadow Burke, North America’s foremost concrete accessories supplier, announced today that the company acquired Thermomass, the industry leader in concrete insulation systems.

“In addition to strengthening Meadow Burke’s product offering for manufacturers of sandwich wall panels, Thermomass will serve as a platform for future growth in composite connection systems,” said Jan Olsen, President of Meadow Burke. “This acquisition demonstrates our commitment to leading the way in bringing best-in-class, innovative concrete accessories to market.”

Thermomass manufactures a diverse range of patent-protected insulation systems for use in precast, tilt-up and cast-in-place applications. These systems are used in the construction of energy efficient buildings throughout North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Headquartered in Boone, Iowa, Thermomass will continue to be operated by its current management team and led by President Tom Stecker.

“Partnering with Meadow Burke was a natural fit,” said Tom Stecker. “Just like Thermomass, Meadow Burke is an industry leader and innovator in concrete construction. The combination of capabilities between our two companies will provide significant opportunities for our respective businesses, our customers and our employees.”
