LJB Inc. Opens Houston, Texas Office

On September 2, LJB will open a regional office near Houston, Texas, to better serve its expanding client base in the Gulf Coast and Texas Triangle regions.

Known throughout the tilt-up industry for its CON/STEEL Building Program, LJB has been providing tilt-up design and consulting expertise throughout North America and beyond for decades.  Until now, they have served their domestic and international clients exclusively from the company’s headquarters in Dayton, Ohio. Earlier this year, LJB made a strategic decision to permanently establish a new office in Houston to solidify its commitment to the region.

During the past several years, LJB has applied its specialized knowledge—especially related to tilt-up concrete facility design and fall protection consulting—for firms in Houston and the surrounding communities. For example, LJB teamed with TCA member Powers Brown Architecture on the recent Greenhouse Park 5-story and the Stream Sierra Pines Phase II 6-story tilt-up office buildings.

“It has been very fulfilling to work on some noteworthy tilt-up projects in the Houston area,” said LJB principal and past TCA president David Tomasula. “The designers and contractors in Houston are continuing to challenge what can be done with tilt-up, and we want to be an integral part of the next generation of tilt-up in the area.”

LJB’s new office is located at:

2101 South Battleground Road
Deer Park, Texas 77536
(832) 492-2936

With this expansion, LJB can offer new opportunities to its staff and more effectively share its technical expertise with organizations in the Gulf Coast and Texas Triangle regions.
