Robert F. Murray Named President of Tilt-Up Concrete Association

Robert F. Murray

The Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) proudly announces the election of Robert F. Murray as President of the Board of Directors. Murray’s appointment follows the recent Board meeting and continues the organization’s tradition of strong leadership. Currently serving as Chief Operations Officer at Oline Construction, Bob is at the forefront of driving innovation and excellence in the construction industry. His new role at Oline allows him to leverage over 40 years of experience to expand the company into new markets while maintaining its commitment to quality and client satisfaction.

Bob is recognized as one of the 20 Most Influential Professionals in the World for Tilt-Up Construction. His contributions to the field have left a lasting impact on the industry. A third-generation member of a construction family, he has amassed deep expertise in all facets of construction, including field supervision, project management, business development, and executive leadership.

Bob’s tenure with the TCA has been marked by extraordinary dedication to its mission of advancing tilt-up construction techniques. As a longtime board member and active participant in TCA initiatives, he has contributed as a judge for the TCA Achievement Awards and played a pivotal role in the 2015 Tilt-Up Convention in New Jersey. Bob’s efforts to educate and inspire the next generation of professionals through events like World of Concrete and hands-on student training sessions have strengthened the pipeline of talent in the industry.

Equally passionate about giving back, Bob is a staunch advocate for charitable causes. He serves on the boards of Pillar Care Continuum and Beat the Streets National, working to uplift communities through education, athletics, and support for individuals with special needs. His charitable endeavors, combined with his professional accomplishments, highlight his commitment to making a meaningful difference in both his industry and the broader community.

As he steps into his role as TCA President, Bob brings the same enthusiasm and expertise that have defined his career. “Tilt-up construction has transformed the way we build, and I’m honored to help lead this organization into a future of greater innovation, collaboration, and community impact,” he says.

Bob Murray continues to set the standard for excellence in the construction industry. He remains steadfast in his mission to inspire, educate, and lead his teams and the TCA community to new heights.

NEWLY ELECTED DIRECTORS RAINEY AND REITZ JOIN THE BOARD

The TCA extends its sincere thanks to Barclay Gebel and Shane Walters for their invaluable service on the Board of Directors. Barclay, a past president, and Shane have significantly contributed to the association’s success.

Serving on the TCA Board of Directors is a great honor. With 15 directors serving staggered three-year terms, only a limited number of seats are available each year—typically no more than two or three. While these positions are highly sought after, many other ways exist to make an impact. We encourage all those interested in serving to stay engaged, show up at events, and contribute to the association’s work. Serving on the board is a privilege, but every member has the opportunity to help advance the industry and expand our collective impact.

That being said, we are excited to welcome two new directors for 2025:

Derick Rainey (Director), Vice President of North American Sales, Nox-Crete Inc. Derick Rainey has deep roots in the tilt-up industry. He began his career in concrete alongside his father. He joined Nox-Crete in 2014 and has since played a vital role in the company’s growth, serving as the Tilt-Up Division Manager before becoming VP of North American Sales. Derick is also a member of the TILT Mentorship Program and serves on the TCA’s education committee. His technical contributions, including his publications on bondbreakers, have significantly impacted the industry.

Justin Reitz (Director), President, RiteTech Construction Ltd. Justin Reitz founded RiteTech Construction Ltd. in 2003. He leads the company with a combination of hands-on expertise and forward-thinking leadership. He has been an influential figure in British Columbia’s tilt-up market and serves on the TCA Canadian Advisory Board. In 2024, he was a featured speaker at the Tilt-Up Nexus, where he shared his insights into innovation within the industry.
