Katt Price Takes the Helm as New President of TCA’s Tilt-Up Industry Leaders of Tomorrow

The Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) is excited to announce Katt Price as the new president of the Tilt-Up Industry Leaders of Tomorrow (TILT), alongside the appointment of two board members and a new executive committee.

A Visionary Leader for TILT

Katt Price, a highly accomplished professional engineer and principal at Schaefer, steps into the role of president with a rich history of contributions to the tilt-up industry. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Katt has been at the forefront of managing and designing innovative tilt-up and structural engineering projects since 2009. Her work spans multiple sectors, including manufacturing, robotics, warehouses, offices, hotels, schools, and entertainment facilities, with a special focus on the industrial market.

At Schaefer, Katt leads both the industrial and tilt-up design departments, showcasing her adeptness in handling complex projects and her commitment to advancing the field. Under her leadership, the team has successfully tackled numerous high-profile projects, setting new standards in the tilt-up industry.

Recognized as a “Top 50 Tilt-Up Industry Influencer,” Katt’s influence extends beyond project management. She has been a pivotal member of the TILT board since its establishment in 2018. Katt revitalized the virtual Cyber Roundtable, contributed significantly to the original TILT Talk panel, and recently shared her expertise at the TCA annual conference in Tampa through her presentation, “Engineering 101.” Her passion for mentoring and developing emerging professionals is evident in her collaborative approach and dedication to sharing knowledge.

Katt replaces TILT’s first president, Michael Frew (Citadel Contractors), who led the group during its formative first years.

Ryan Sbrusch – Director

Dudley Engineering | Austin, Texas

Ryan began his impressive career at Dudley after graduating from Texas A&M University. Swiftly advancing to a project management role, Ryan has successfully led numerous Tilt-Up Industrial Warehouse projects. As a licensed engineer since July 2022, Ryan has not only excelled in his professional endeavors but also as a mentor, guiding a team of graduate engineers towards their professional and personal goals. His active participation in TCA, including attending the TCA Expo and involvement in the mentor program, showcases his commitment to the industry.

Jeremy Wingfield – Director

Martin Concrete Construction | Kennesaw, Georgia

Jeremy brings over a decade of experience in concrete construction to the TILT board. As an estimating executive at Martin Concrete, he manages day-to-day operations and a team of 12, demonstrating his leadership and expertise in preconstruction and estimating. Jeremy’s educational background includes a BS in medical sociology from Kennesaw State University and a post-baccalaureate certificate in construction management from LSU. His passion for the adaptive potential of concrete—and his outside interests, including family, outdoor activities, and sports—reflect his well-rounded character.
