The Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) – a non-profit international organization that serves to expand and improve the use of tilt-up as the preferred building system – has announced a call for entries for the 2019 Tilt-Up Awards. The awards will be presented in Atlanta, Georgia at the International Tilt-Up Convention and Expo Awards Gala, sponsored by Nox-Crete Products Group, on September 27, 2019.

Each year, the Tilt-Up Concrete Association honors those organizations, people and projects that successfully illustrate the variety, beauty and flexibility of tilt-up construction. The diversity of participants is highlighted by the four distinct awards programs: Tilt-Up Achievement Awards, Tilt-Up Professional Awards, Tilt-Up Safety Awards, and the Tilt-Up Concrete Association College of Fellows.

“These programs serve to highlight the very best our industry has to offer,” said Mitch Bloomquist, executive director for the TCA. “They offer inspiration, challenge preconceptions, promote innovation and raise the bar for the entire tilt-up community.”

About The Tilt-Up Concrete Association

The Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) is the international nonprofit trade association for the global tilt-up concrete construction industry. It was founded in 1986 by a dedicated group of contractors, professionals, and manufacturers in the interest of improving the quality and acceptance of tilt-up construction, a building system whereby large concrete elements (walls) are cast on the building slab or elsewhere on site and then lifted (tilted) into position. The mission of the Tilt-Up Concrete Association is to expand and improve the use of tilt-up as the preferred building system by providing education and resources that enhance quality and performance.
