TCA Announces Bilingual Format For Tilt-Up Today Magazine
Español | Translation Sponsored by Nox-Crete Products Group & Alianza Soluciones
The Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) is pleased to announce a new bilingual format for Tilt-Up Today. A quarterly publication of the Tilt-Up Concrete Association, Tilt-Up Today is the source for tilt-up industry news, market intelligence, business strategies, technical solutions, product information, and other resources for professionals in the tilt-up industry.
Starting with issue 22-4 | Winter 2014/2015, Tilt-Up Today will be published in a bilingual format with each article, member news story and TCA announcement presented in both English and Spanish side-by-side.
“Given the importance of the Spanish-speaking community to the construction industry, we feel that this is a great move for the association and makes Tilt-Up Today, and the organization as a whole, more relevant and useful,” said Mitch Bloomquist, managing director for the TCA. “Not only will this new format serve our continuously expanding readership outside of the country, it will serve those Spanish speaking workers here in the United States.” Nox-Crete Products Group and Alianza Soluciones are sponsoring the new feature.
“Nox-Crete prides itself on being a technical resource for concrete construction chemicals. We believe the TCA is the best resource available to the tilt-up construction industry and we are excited to help it expand into the international community and rapidly growing Hispanic market in the U.S.,” said Sarah Waller, marketing manager for Nox-Crete Products Group. “Additionally, tilt-up has international momentum right now – translating Tilt-Up Today will propel the industry.”
“We believe Tilt-Up Today magazine is the most prestigious in the industry and in Latin America, that is no exception,” said Jorge Figueroa, president of Alianza Soluciones. “Associating Alianza Soluciones with these efforts will be advantageous as we position ourselves in the market.”
The TCA has seen firsthand the importance of the tilt-up message in native language throughout the U.S. and Latin America, states Jim Baty, technical director for the TCA. “As tilt-up becomes the construction method of dominance, certification is one of the first steps taken to increase awareness of the quality that exists in the workforce. There is a direct correlation to the growth and demonstration of knowledge with the availability and presentation of content in Spanish.”
“Tilt-Up Today is a critical vehicle for the distribution of tilt-up education and an invaluable member benefit,” said Bloomquist. “As the tilt-up industry expands throughout Latin America, we’re proud to say the TCA’s voice will be present.”
