Shane Walters, P.E. Joins Dayton Superior As Tilt-Werks Program Manager

Dayton Superior, the leading provider of accessories, chemicals, forming and paving product solutions to the non-residential concrete construction industry, is pleased to announce that Shane Walters has joined Dayton Superior as the Tilt-Werks® Program Manager.

Prior to joining Dayton Superior, Walters served as the Director of Engineering & Technology at Tilt-Up Design Systems, LLC, the original developer of the Tilt-Werks technology, recently purchased by Dayton Superior.

Tilt-Werks is a fully-integrated, web-based design and detail technology used by architects, structural engineers, contractors, and other professionals to create tilt-up buildings and construction packages, including the Building Information Modeling (BIM) data.

In his new role with Dayton Superior, Walters will lead the continuing development of the Tilt-Werks technology, including customer training for engineers, architects, contractors and material providers.

Walters holds a BS and MS in Civil Engineering with a minor in mathematics and partial minor in Computer Science, from Ohio University. Walters has worked as a structural engineer for the past 15 years. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Ohio and Florida.
