The Tilt-Up Concrete Association has announced the election of new board members and the slate of officers for the 2008 year.

Alan Wilson, AIA, design principal at The Haskell Company (Jacksonville, Fla.) was elected president of the TCA Board of Directors at its annual meeting on Jan. 24. Wilson has been a member of the Tilt-Up construction industry more than 20 years, is a registered architect, and is a past-president of the AIA chapter in Jacksonville, Fla. Wilson currently serves on the chapter’s Board of Directors.

Other officers re-elected to the Board for 2008 are:

• President-elect Jim MacKinnon of Saunders Construction, Inc. (Englewood, Co.)
• Past-president David Tomasula, P.E., of CON/STEEL Tilt-Up Systems (Dayton, Ohio)
• Laurence Smith of J.W. Lindsay Enterprises, Ltd. (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada)
• Shawn Hickey of SiteCast Construction Corp. (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada)
• Glen Stephens of SAA Architecture (Laurel, Md. and Charlotte, N.C.)
