Dayton Superior Announces Recent Staff Promotions
Dayton Superior, the leading provider of accessories, chemicals, forming and paving product solutions to the non-residential concrete construction industry, is pleased to announce a number of promotions among the organization’s team members.
Rick Lindstrom – Previously the Director of Engineering, Lindstrom has been promoted to Vice President, Engineering. Mr. Lindstrom has been with Dayton Superior for 10 years and has more than 39 years of construction industry experience. In his new role, Rick will work to intensify Dayton Superior’s capabilities in product development, application engineering, research and development, technical services and quality management.
Graham Howarth – Previously the Research & Development Manager, Howarth has been promoted to Director of Research & Development and Technical Services. In this role, he will direct new product introductions in support of Dayton Superior’s chemical portfolio. In addition, he will play a key role in the facilitation of Dayton Superior’s new Innovation Center.
Sean Hirka – Previously the Group Product Manager for Accessories, Hirka has been promoted to Director of Global Product Management. Mr. Hirka joined Dayton Superior as a product manager and has been with the company for 5 years. In his new role, he will lead Dayton Superior’s product management organization to institutionalize process excellence including new product development and commercialization, market segmentation, product lifecycle management, and strategic pricing.
Tyler Shaner – Previously the Product Manager – Forming, Shaner has been promoted to Senior Product Manager – Forming. In this role, he will oversee management of the forming products and systems, including formliner, which make up the company’s Symons® brand portfolio.
Dave DeBruler – Previously the Chemical Product Manager, DeBruler has been promoted to Senior Technical Services Manager. In this role, he will lead the company’s Technical Services group to serve as a bridge between Sales & Marketing and the Research & Development groups.
Dan Dancer – Previously the Product Manager for the Tilt Up and Precast Construction portfolios, Dancer has been promoted to Product Manager – Chemicals. In this role, he will lead implementation of the entire chemical portfolio.
Chris Kies – Previously the Field Service Technician for Dayton Superior’s Taper-Lock® machine fleet, Kies has been promoted to Field Service Supervisor. In this role, he will oversee all Taper-Lock machine service activities in the field.
Judy Nelson – Previously the Administrative Assistant for Product Management, Nelson has been promoted to Project Coordinator – STEP. STEP is Dayton Superior’s new product development initiative that launched in 2013. The STEP program uses a rigorous Stage-Gate® decision model to move product ideas from inception to potential launch. In this role, Ms. Nelson will be responsible for facilitating the STEP process and enabling efficient management of products within the STEP pipeline from concept to market launch.
