A new educational film titled Beneath the Surface – The Art of Exposed Aggregate is now available to stream exclusively on Tilt-Up Academy, the Tilt-Up Concrete Association’s online learning platform.

The film offers a detailed, on-the-ground look at the craft of exposed aggregate tilt-up panels—from active jobsites to completed buildings. Bret Newcomb, president of Newcomb Construction, leads the tour through a series of projects in and around Madison, Wisconsin, sharing the techniques, materials, and attention to detail that go into achieving refined architectural finishes.

Joining the tour are Dave Overbeek and the team from Tilt Wall Ontario, visiting from the Greater Toronto Area to learn more about refining their own approach to this specialized finish.
