NEx and Tilt-Up Concrete Association Partner to Advance Nonmetallic Building Materials in Tilt-Up Construction

NEx, an ACI Center of Excellence for Nonmetallic Building Materials, is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) aimed at advancing nonmetallic building materials in tilt-up construction.

NEx is a global leader in research, education, and development of nonmetallic building materials such as polymer concrete, synthetic fibers, or fiber-reinforced polymers (FRP) reinforcement. TCA is a nonprofit trade association dedicated to promoting and advancing the use of tilt-up construction.

As part of the partnership, NEx and TCA will work together to develop educational materials, standards, and training programs for contractors and builders to promote the use of nonmetallic building materials in tilt-up construction. The organizations will also collaborate on research initiatives to develop new materials and applications for nonmetallic building materials in tilt-up construction.

“We are excited to partner with TCA to promote the use of nonmetallic building materials in tilt-up construction,” said Nex’s Executive Director Jerzy Z. Zemajtis. “NEx is committed to advancing sustainable and innovative solutions for the construction industry, and this partnership will help us to achieve that goal.”

The partnership between NEx and TCA represents a significant milestone in the construction industry’s efforts to promote sustainability, innovation, and safety in building design and construction. The two organizations are committed to working together to support the industry and drive positive change for years to come.
